Drone Search and Rescue Pilot – Brent Cook

DISABLED U.S. NAVY VETERAN • RETIRED LAW-ENFORCEMENT SUPERVISOR • SEARCH & RESCUE TRAINED

Brent Cook is the owner and operator of Sight Hawk Drone. A disabled U.S. Navy veteran with two deployments to Iraq and a retired law-enforcement supervisor, Brent brings disciplined decision-making, public-safety experience, and a compassionate approach to every search.

Experience Grounded in Drone Search and Rescue and Emergency Response

During his law-enforcement career, Brent responded to the Houston Tax Day Flood and Hurricane Harvey as a trained swift-water rescue technician. During his final two years in law enforcement, he served as an agency drone operator, assisting with searches for missing or at-risk individuals and locating and tracking fleeing suspects.

Brent later deployed with Sight Hawk Drone to Kerrville following the catastrophic flooding. Working within the established response structure and around other aircraft, he used thermal and visual aerial capabilities to assist responding agencies with search-and-recovery operations for missing flood victims, including efforts connected to the Camp Mystic tragedy. He also helped evaluate visible disaster damage and provided responders with real-time aerial awareness.
